We're looking for a full-time E-commerce Lead with strengths in web technology, strategic planning, business processes, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years e-commerce experience with sporting goods background and the ability to manage projects. • Supporting IT and Marketing projects including new development, upgrading, and integrating existing ecommerce platform.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Developing and documenting internal processes and controls.
• Verifying product data, promotions and inventory to meet company QC standards.
• Analyzing information received from inventory management and product teams.
• Utilizing web analytics and campaign performance data to evaluate and modify strategic efforts.
• Customizing the user experience to generate the highest conversion rates.

Required Skills and Experience: 

• At least 5 years e-commerce experience with sporting goods background preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical or business field or related, equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with standard procedures, concepts, and best practices within ecommerce product marketing.
• Experience in Photoshop, Flash, Excel, CSS and HTML.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, web programming and ecommerce platforms such as Yahoo Stores and Miva Merchant.
• Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, web analytics including understanding of search algorithms.
• Experience with email marketing, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google AdSense, Analytics and Adwords preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as a team leader on projects throughout all phases from content gathering to product layout to publishing.
• In depth knowledge of hockey; baseball and/or lacrosse equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Detail oriented, self starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
