MonkeySports started in 1999 as Hawk Hockey, a single hockey shop in Costa Mesa, California, run by people who played the game and were tired of guessing which stick, skate, or glove was right. That idea — gear advice from someone who has actually used it — is still the whole business.
Today MonkeySports, Inc. is one of North America's largest specialty retailers of hockey, goalie, baseball, softball, and lacrosse equipment. We sell online through HockeyMonkey.com, GoalieMonkey.com, BaseballMonkey.com, and LacrosseMonkey.com, and in person at MonkeySports Superstores across the United States. Our main office and distribution center are in Allen, Texas.

How we work
Work hard. Do what's right. Those two lines are the only rules we have ever needed. They show up as straight answers on the phone, a one-year return window on unused gear, and staff who will tell you when the cheaper option is the better one.
