This Privacy Policy explains how MonkeySports, Inc. ("MonkeySports," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit MonkeySports.com, our corporate website. This site is informational: it has no shopping cart and no customer accounts. Purchases are made on our retail websites and in our stores, each of which has its own privacy policy linked at the end of this page.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site — a contact request, a team sales quote, or a newsletter sign-up — we collect what you enter: name, email address, phone number, postal/ZIP code, organization or team name, and the content of your message. Job applications are handled on our recruiting partner's site (Paylocity), under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to collect device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You control non-essential cookies through the consent banner and the Consent Preferences link in the footer.
Store locator. If you search for a store, the location you type (or, if you allow it, your device location) is sent to our store-locator provider to return results. It is not stored by us.
Appointment booking. Some store pages let you book a fitting or service through Calendly. The details you enter there (name, email, phone, appointment time) are collected by Calendly on our behalf under its own privacy policy, and shared with the store to prepare for your visit.
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, precise geolocation, or health information) through this site, and we ask you not to include it in forms.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your contact, quote, and donation requests, and to provide team sales services you ask about.
- To send our newsletter and company news if you sign up. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site, including analytics, debugging, and fraud and abuse prevention.
- To comply with law and to protect our rights and the rights of others.
3. How we share information
We share personal information with service providers that work on our behalf and are contractually limited to using it for our purposes: website hosting and forms (Shopify), email delivery, analytics (Google), consent management (Termly), store locator (Stockist), appointment booking (Calendly), and recruiting (Paylocity). Team sales inquiries are handled by our team sales department, which operates in the United States and Canada. We may also share information when required by law, to protect safety and property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use this website to share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share" option. You can review your choices at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page.
4. Cookies, analytics, and opt-out preference signals
Essential cookies make the site work and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent where required. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, for which there is no common standard.
5. How long we keep information
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records, then delete or de-identify them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's settings, which we limit to the shortest practical period.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents also have the right to limit use of sensitive personal information (which we do not collect here) and to appeal a decision on a request.
To exercise your rights, email privacy@monkeysports.com or write to the address above. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against what we hold, and respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days where permitted). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission; we may still ask you to verify your identity directly.
Residents of Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Rhode Island, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights and the same contact route. Where a state provides an appeal process, you may appeal a decision by replying to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line.
9. Our retail websites and stores
Purchases, customer accounts, loyalty programs, and order history are governed by the privacy policy of the retail website or store you use: HockeyMonkey.com, GoalieMonkey.com, BaseballMonkey.com, LacrosseMonkey.com, and HockeyMonkey.ca (operated by L'Expérience MonkeySports in Canada). MonkeySports Superstore locations follow the policy of MonkeySports, Inc.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
